Students See Cells!
Ms. Johnson's 7th Grade Science Class did a fantastic job creating models of plant and animal cells as a project in their class. They won't run out of minutes with these cells! Check out the pictures in our Picture Gallery (click the link on the left).
Getting in Shape!
Ms. Delarama's students manipulate shape blocks in Geometry class to help them understand volume. Take a look in the Picture Gallery to see what they were working on.
LGMS students have fun on Club Day
LGMS' new Club Day program is providing students with opportunities to learn about things that interest them and have fun at the same time. Take a look at pictures of the Karaoke club in our Picture Gallery.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE SCHOOL NURSE...
Dear Parent/Guardian,
All rising 6th graders in the State of Virginia are required by law to have a TDAP booster BEFORE the first day of 6th grade. This injection may also be called Boostrix or Adacel.
Virginia state law does not give any grace period for getting this injection, so if your child does not have documentation of this shot, he or she may not attend the first day of school on
August 20, 2008. You may have your child immunized at your physicians office or at the Orange County Health Dept. You may call the health department at 540-672-1291 for dates and times for free immunization clinics.
I MUST RECEIVE DOCUMENTATION OF THIS INJECTION BEFORE YOUR CHILD MAY ATTEND SCHOOL. If documentation is not received prior to the first day of school on August 20th, 2008, your child will be sent home until documentation is provided. You may bring documentation to the school or have it faxed to: 540-661-4447 Attn: Rhonda Christman, School Nurse.
This information will be advertized on the radio, and in all local newspapers. Please take the time to get this done as soon as possible and get the documentation to the school. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 540-661-4423. Thank You.
